Web Developer Degree Ranking Methodology

We ranked the schools on this list using our simple and straightforward formula. Our formula takes two statistics, namely yearly tuition rate and graduation rate, and comes up with a rating that we use to rank each school. Our formula works by taking each school’s yearly tuition rate and adding a multiplier equivalent to the percentage of enrolled students who did not end up graduating. We only looked at a school’s in-state tuition rate if the school charges different rates for in-state and non-resident students. Here’s an example of how the formula comes up with a rating: University #1 has a yearly tuition rate of $30,000 and a graduation rate of 50%. Its rating would be 45,000 (30,000 x 150%). Lower ratings are better for a school’s ranking.
