The Formula Used to Rank Each College

As you may have noticed, there are points behind the name of each institution. These points were given based on two criteria: the annual in-state tuition costs and graduation rates. Each school was assigned up to 50 points for each value in comparison to the other schools on the list, giving them a total of up to 100 points. They were then ranked in order from the highest points to the lowest. In the case of a tie, the schools with the highest graduation rates were ranked first.
