How the Institutions Were Ranked

As you may have noticed, points were listed behind the title of each college. The points were determined based on how much the tuition cost and graduation rate are. All of the schools were listed on a spreadsheet with the annual in-state tuition and graduation rate. Points were then awarded to each college; 20 points given to the school with the lowest tuition cost and one point given to the college with the highest cost. Points were then given to each university based on the graduation rate; 20 points given to the highest graduation rate and one point given to the lowest graduation rate. These two columns were then added together, giving us the points that are currently listed behind each college’s name.
