The schools have been ranked using two criteria: tuition and enrollment. We first rated the schools by the cost of tuition, with the more affordable tuition rates receiving a better score. Then, we rated the schools by their enrollment totals, with the higher enrollment levels receiving a better score. The scores for both criteria were added together in order to establish the ranking we’ve used.
The tuition rates were in-state when applicable. We based the tuition on a full year (two semesters) with just the cost of tuition and fees factored in. Many programs may require added costs, including books, room, and board.
