After a careful examination of many colleges offering a Master’s of Public Health, we ended up with 22 institutions. We ranked them based on tuition because it may a big factor in choosing a college. However, we also considered the number of concentrations that each college offers students since it also affects the depth of its curriculum and the graduates’ knowledge and skills. So, while a college may have low tuition, it may be ranked lower if the degree allows few specializations, for example. In our case, the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill tops the list because of its comprehensive MPH. But tuition is one of the highest.
