How the Schools Were Ranked

To determine what colleges offered an electronic engineering degree was not easy; it took hours of researching and compiling data for each institution. As you may have noticed, points were added behind the name of each college. This number was determined based on the tuition costs and graduation rates of each school.

The first step was to list the schools’ names, tuitions, and graduation rates. We then gave points to schools based on the tuition (the lowest tuition cost got 20 points, the highest got 1, and the schools in between received between 2 and 19 points). The same formula was used for the graduation rate, except 20 points were given to the highest graduation rate and 1 was given to the lowest. The numbers were added together for each category and the school with the highest number of points was ranked first.
