Our Ranking Methodology

We used a formula that takes into account yearly tuition rates and graduation rates to come up with a final rating for each school. This formula works by taking the yearly tuition rate and adding a multiplier equivalent to the percentage of enrolled students who did not graduate. For example, If ABC University has a yearly tuition rate of $30,000 and a graduation rate of 50%, its rating would be 45,000 (30,000 x 150%). A lower rating is better for a school’s ranking on our list.
