Masters in Industrial Engineering Ranking Methodology
The schools have been ranked using two different criteria. First, schools were ranked based on the tuition. The schools with more affordable tuition were given a higher score. Then, schools were ranked based on the teacher to student ratio. The schools with smaller class sizes were given a higher score. The scores were added up, which allowed us to rank the schools with the best schools being listed at the top.
The tuition cost for the schools were based on a full school year (two semesters). In instances where the college or university is a state school, in-state tuition costs were used. The cost listed is that of tuition and fees – books and housing costs were not incorporated into the costs for the purposes of ranking.
Our goal is to rank all of the schools using the latest and most accurate data. If you work for one of the schools listed and notice an error, please contact us so that we can address the issue.
