The University of Texas at Tyler offers one of the leading LPN to BSN programs in the state. Its nursing department also offers many other degree options, including traditional, accelerated, and RN-to-BSN tracks. UT Tyler even has a partnership with Jarvis Chrisitan College that enables Jarvis students to earn a dual BS/BSN degree. UT Tyler also has a top-notch graduate nursing program that offers students Ph.D and DNP degrees along with several MSN options.

West Texas A&M University has one of the top nursing programs in Texas. Its degree tracks include a high-quality LPN to BSN program. Also offered at the undergraduate level is the RN-to-BSN degree, which can be completed online, and the traditional four-year BSN degree, which must be completed on-campus in Canyon. An MSN program is also available at the graduate level. The institution has an on-campus nursing clinic where students can learn and get practical experience.

The University of Texas at El Paso, better known as UTEP, offers one of the leading LPN to BSN programs in the region. UTEP also offers traditional BSN, fast-track BSN, and RN-to-BSN programs at the undergraduate level.
