Our Ranking Methodology

We use two statistics to calculate our rankings, namely yearly tuition and graduation rate. Some schools charge different tuition rates to resident and non-resident students. We only considered the resident tuition rate for these schools. We took this rate and added a multiplier equivalent to the percentage of students who didn’t graduate. For example, University #1 has a yearly tuition rate of $30,000 and a graduation rate of 80%. University #1’s rating would be 33,000 (30,000 x 120%). Lower ratings result in better rankings.

Representatives of the institutions on this list can contact us if they need to make a correction or ask a question.
