At Valencia College students can earn a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology. Students can choose a concentration in Computer Systems or Electrical/Electronic Systems.

Miami Dade College
At Miami Dade College students can complete a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology. At the University of North Florida, students can earn a Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering. The four most important courses in the program are Advanced Material Principles I and II, Materials Characterization, and Modeling and Simulation of Materials.
During their last semester of study, students are required to prepare and defend a thesis in order to be able to graduate from the program.
Florida Gulf Coast University
At the Florida Gulf Coast University, students can earn a Master of Science in Engineering. Students enrolled in the program can choose a concentration in Construction, Renewable Energy, and Sustainable Water Engineering. Florida International University
At Florida International University, students can earn either a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering. Florida Polytech University

Florida Institute of Technology
At the Florida Institute of Technology, students can earn a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Within the program four subfields of study are emphasized:

Students also have the option of closely studying nuclear technology, systems engineering, and nuclear technology.
Though it isn’t required, students can also choose to complete an internship. Companies that accept mechanical engineering interns include Lockheed Martin and NASA. Whether they complete an internship or not, graduation from the program depends on students completing a senior design project during their last years of study. In the past, students have worked on projects that include The Performance Hybrid Race Car, and the Panther 1 Pathfinder Rocket.
University of West Florida
At the University of West Florida, students can earn a degree at the University of West Florida in Electrical, Computer and Mechanical Engineering. Classes are held in interactive settings where students can create and design solutions to common and uncommon engineering problems. Some of the subjects emphasized in the curriculum include machine design, solid and fluid mechanics, and thermodynamics. They have two locations: Pensacola and Fort Walton Beach.
Florida A&M University
The College of Engineering at Florida A&M University offers a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering. Students can choose from the thesis and non-thesis programs in order to complete their degree.
Engineering students can choose from majors such as Chemical & Biomedical, Civil and Environmental, Electrical & Computer, and Industrial & Manufacturing.
University of Florida
The Engineering School of Sustainable Infrastructure & Environment at the University of Florida offers a Master of Engineering. Students can choose to earn their degree in Civil or Coastal Engineering or Environmental Engineering Sciences. The degree they choose dictates the specializations they study. For Civil Engineering majors this includes Geosystems. For Coastal Engineering majors it includes Ecosystem Dynamics and Oceanography. Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University
The College of Engineering at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University offers a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. The success of the Aerospace Engineering program inspired the curriculum that students follow in order to earn this degree. Students in the program can choose from one of four concentrations; High-Performance Vehicles, or Biomedical, Energy, or Robotic Systems. The Robotic Systems concentration further emphasizes Unmanned and Autonomous Vehicle Systems.
Before they can graduate students are required to complete an engineering project. They can choose a spacecraft or aircraft design project if they want to be certified in aerospace engineering. Otherwise, students can complete their design project on propulsion, energy, or robotics.
