METHODOLOGY
We examined 40 colleges that offer associate degrees online and then shortened the list to 24 colleges based on affordability. The maximum tuition that we set was $ 10,000 per annum assuming that an undergraduate takes 15 credits per hour. The lowest cost of attendance was $612, and $6,750 became the highest amount. We then gave each college an affordability score. To give the student an idea of how much financial aid they may receive, we also indicated the percentage for each college.
