    • Textbooks needed? No
    • Undergraduate degree required? No, and there are no other admission requirements. However, it is expected that you will be in contact with your faculty support team to ensure your success in your course.
    • Asynchronous (can enter any time)? No. Harvard Business School online courses are structured to teach students in cohorts. You will list your cohort on your resume. This helps you in networking.
    • Time to complete: Five to seventeen weeks.

    University of Chicago

    Graham School Continuing Liberal and Professional Studies

    • Tuition: $5,250 to $12,225 depending on number of courses required, billed at $1750 per course.
    • Textbooks needed? Some courses require textbooks, and some do not.
    • Undergraduate degree required? No, but students have to apply to their certificate programs after they take one course.
    • Asynchronous (can enter any time)? No. Courses start every six weeks. Students spend their first week on Canvas, the university’s online learning system, and then participate in online discussions and assignments due each week with other students in their cohort. Attendance at synchronous sessions on Zoom is mandatory.
    • Time to complete: Most courses take six weeks. Completing a certificate takes eighteen to forty-two weeks.
