How the Schools were Ranked

In order to determine what institution should be listed at the top of our accounting programs list, we used a point system using the graduation rates and tuition of each college. Once we discovered the tuition and graduation rates for the schools, this information was placed in a spreadsheet. We began by awarding points to each school based on tuition, granting more points to the school with the lowest tuition cost. The same was done to each school based on the graduation rates, giving more points to higher graduation rates. Once there were points for both factors, they were added together, giving the points we have listed behind the colleges’ names.

Hopefully, this list will help you find accounting schools in NY that works for you and your budget. We welcome faculty members of other institutions to contact us and let us know if you are interested in having your employer listed in one of our articles. Also, let us know if any of the information in this article is incorrect.
